What do these numbers stand for exactly?

right eye -5 +3 X82 left eye -5 +2 X84

Have you heard of people needing lasik 2 times because of having "lots" of astigmatism? Are the -5s, my astigmatism and if so, is that a lot?

-5.0 is the myopia

+3.0 is the level of astigmatism

X82 is the axis of the astigmatism

For the left eye - 5.0 diopters of myopia with 2 diopters of astigmatism.

Your question is - what is the risk that I might need an enhancement. The answer is very surgeon related - your risk with me, based on my enhancemennt rate would be in th 4-6% range. But every LASIK surgeon has their own numbers.

I hope this helps
