I am looking for hope with wavefront (or some other technology) to fix some of my LASIK problems in the future for both eyes.

My situation is:

Overcorrected (hyperopic) by about +1 with a +1 astig. BCVA is about 20/20 though.

Thin flaps (at least one) that should not be lifted. Thin in the middle and had a melt through

There is probably some irreglarities in the surface. Soft lenses help a lot with my overall vision but do not fix starbursts and night vision.

Indoor and night vision problems of glare, ghosts, starbursts etc.

Can wavefront be performed on the surface of the flap (epithelium layer) to avoid haze. Is this my best chance of a fix in years to come?

Mike

You have great questions, and the answers are still theoretical. Wavefront LASIK and wavefront PRK has been performed, and both seem to provide slightly better vision in comparison with regular LASIK or PRK using the same laser platform (this information is from the autonomous laser data).
However, the researchers are still looking at ways to further optimize the treatment protocols - so it will still be 1-3 years away.
There will be many approaches in the future, and I just do not know yet whether the answer will be to perform wavefront PRK over a previous LASIK, or some other technique.
I wish I had definite answers, and I apologize for not having these answers yet.
Please feel free to ask further questions.

Best of luck
