I am two weeks post LASIK. I had lower plugs put in a week ago but I am still requiring eye drops about every 15 to 20 minutes. I am using Refresh Preservative free during the day and Theratears gel at night. Maybe I am still too soon out of this to tell, but is there something else I should try? I've seen postings about flaxseed, fish oil and other possible treatments. My vision is 20/20 but blurry or foggy without frequent drops. Now it feels like there's sand or grit constantly in my eyes. Any suggestions on what I should try?

There are so many treatment options for dry eyes after LASIK - talk with your doctor about:
Restasis
Oral Flax seed oil
Warm compresses
Genteal Gel at bedtime
Moisture chamber at bedtime
Lid scrubs (if there is blephartis).
Best of luck

someone just told me about a nutrition supplement called BILBERRY. He said it made his eyes moist and wet. Totally natural - its probabaly worth a shot.
