I have dry eye so bad i can hardly drive, My eyes feel fine they stay moist in fact when i wake in the morning my eyes are dry and stuck together this is when i can see good, then when eyes start to feel good my vision gets bad.What i know is my tears will not clear my eyes, i can put a drop of systane in my eye it will clear instantly for about 5 min. The lack of tears is not my prob. it is a lack of oil. But i do not know what to do about it. I have had schirmers test i can not see how they can tell by this test my eyes pour water like when i was a kid crying for candy. ps. what kind of oinment is used for blepharitis ?

Talk to your doctor about
1. Restasis: I love this medication for the situation you have described
2. Low dose steroids (Alrex, FML)
3. Hydroeye
4. Soothe (lubricating drop with oil supplement)
5. Warm compresses: 20 minutes 2 -3 times a day for my patients
6. Moisture goggles
