Had Lasik in 4/02. Since that time, astigmatism has re-developed. Negative .25 in my left eye, and negative .75 in my right eye. Because I am right handed, and now more strongly rely on my left eye, which seems far stronger to me, I am having issues with depth perception, which particularly affects sports and reading. Assuming that there is ample corneal tissue (I recognize more assumptions may be necessary), would it be possible to have an enhancement performed on the right eye such that the right eye is as strong as the left? While I realize that this astigmatism may seem slight, it is extremely bothersome. I fear that I must revert to glasses (contacts arent an option), which is unsettling.

Remember - surgeries have risks!!!! Although an enhancement is straightforward - there is a risk of infection, DLK, epithelial ingrowth, etc. The enhancement should work nicely - but you also have to be prepared for the possibility that you could end up over or under corrected.
So - the bottom line answer is that the odds with an enhancement are high that the results will be good - but there is a chance of problems.
Best of luck

Thanks Dr. Trattler. In your opinion, is the negative .75 astigmatism great enough to warrant correction if it is causing considerable subjective problems? It is also notable that I have already received an enhancement in the left eye, which was successful. The left eye is now negative .25 and seems far superior to my right, dominant eye. Thank you very much for your time. Happy new year.

A wavefront-guided enhancement can do a very nice job of crisping up the vision of someone with a small prescription like your. But you have to remember there are risks with the procedure, and it is possible you could end up over or under corrected.
I hope this helps
