I had Lasik back in April and have had poor vision in the right eye ever since... astigmatism and variable focus.. Although I have regular checks I have noticed that the flap on the right eye seems to move freely...is this normal...if not what could be the problem ??

You have provided very non-specific comments, so this is a hard question to answer. The first thing is that the flap can not move freely - as it does attach to the underlying surface.
You mention astigmatism - can your vision be corrected to 20/20 with glasses? How about with contacts?
Would an enhancement procedure be helpful to you, according to your surgeon?
Has your surgeon provided any explanation to your current situation.
I am happy to answer further.
Best regards

Thank you for your prompt reply... All I can add is that the flap on the left eye seems to be in place and vision 20/20... The right eye varies from day to day and sometimes hour to hour. The flap visibly moves and the sight out of the eye can be improved by light manipulation of the flap whilst under the protection of the eye lid!!!.. Each time I visit the clinic I have a varying prescription ... No explanation & no progress... Not sure what I can do next..
