Is it possible to develop epithelial ingrowth at the center of the eye instead of at the interface? My optometrist informed me that he noted some haze towards the center of my right eye and was concerned about epithelial ingrowth. I thought that haze was only prevalent with PRK and not LASIK. Should I be concerned?

You should be concerned - and you should see your surgeon immediately. Hopefully it is nothing serious, but it can be a variety of conditions - including epi ingrowth, DLK, etc.

Best of luck
