I am consider wearing contact lens, I am 5month post LASIK. I know afterr LASIK there is a risk of dislodgement of the flap. How long after the LASIK would it me safe for me to wear contact and wouldn't cause flap damage?
Also which one would be safer RGP or Soft contact lens?
Thanks!!

Contact lenses can be worn after LASIK. There is no time issues that I am aware of. Of course - you should talk with your own doctor prior to using contact lenses - as your eye may be a little dry for the first few months or longer after LASIK. Dry eye can increase the risk of an infection with contact lenses.
I hope this helps
