Thank you Drs. Trattler, Tennen and Iskander. I really appreciated your thorough replies. Now I understand the problem better. I just hope the next lift and scrape will be the final one.

I am happy to let you know that the fourth and final scrapping took care of the epithelial ingrowth. My vision is now 20/15 in this eye. Needless to say I am thrilled.
