I am more than 4months post LASIK, however the halo and double vision during night become worse!I felt very sad. I went to see the doctor and he always told me I am still in the healing period and we should wait. I am only 23, now I am afraid of going out during night. Both of my eyes got some Astigmatism which I didn't have before LASIK. My dr told me the astigmatism should reduce as time goes by, but now it's worse. The double visions are more noticeable during the night and low light. Is that because the astigmatism become worse? BTW immediately after LASIK, my night vision is good.

How can these doctors get away with this?
Weak judiciary. Some doctors have no pride.

Todd - what do you mean "weak judiciary" That is an uninformed statement.
Laser eye surgery is a procedure where the eye is reshaped with a laser. The eye is not a block of ice, but a living, breathing thing. It can sometimes take weeks to months for the eye to heal and for the vision to stabalize. Advising a patient to be "patient" is an appopriate statement when there is mild refractive error and evidence that the eye is still adjusting. The eye needs to be stable before any additional surgery is performed.
As well - we do not know any of the details of the eye exam. Is there regular astigmatism? Or is it irregular? Perhaps a temporary pair of glasses can be used to help the vision at night time.
