I had Customvue Lasik on Wednesday (less than 48 hours ago) and am experiencing significant halos -- at night, but alos during the day in my office. For example, when i look tat the flourescent light next to my computer, I see a halo (same is true for the message light on my telephone).

Is it common to have "haloing" during daylight hours (i.e., in the office during the day)?

How common is it to have halos immediately after surgery? My docter says that it's normal to have halos post surgery and to give it time.

I've read that 20/20, 20/30 vision should improve significantly within 2 days of surger, but that it can take longer for other issues such as crispness, halos, etc. to settle down. Is this true?

What's the longest period of time after which halos will be permanent (i.e., I can not expect any improvement)

I didn't seem to notice it the morning after surgery, but did in the afternoon after surgery. Would it be possible to not have halos, then have them and then for them to go away?

Sorry for so many questions. I'm really nervous right now.

Thanks,

Mark

Patience. Right after surgery - the eye is still healing halos are not something to worry about 2 days after LASIK. They are not predictive of halos long term.
