After having LASIK last week ...I see the starbursts or Halos at night around headlights or even digital clocks etc... is this normal and when should it go away?
Would appreciate an MD answer on this...
Halos can be caused by under or over correction,
irregular surface, flap wrinkles, drynes, central
Islands, and large pupils. If none of these are
present your halos should be short lived. The
most benign cause is residual refractive error.
Ask your surgeon about the cause at your next exam
