I had Lasik about 3 years ago and have been very pleased; some slight loss in acuity, but not too bothersome. Recently, however, I experienced a bright "flash" in a ring shape when I CLOSED my eyes. It was very startling. It happened twice one night, and again a couple of times the next night. It hasn't happened since. I don't seem to find any posts that mention this - only halos and glares, etc. I don't know if it has anything to do with the surgery, but the circular shape instantly made me think of the flap incision. Should I be concerned?

The flashes are unrelated to your Lasik. The most common causes are vitreous separation, retinal tears and migraine. You should discuss it with your ophthalmologist.
