I have had intacts for just over 1 month. My vision in the morning is good but fades around 10:00am. I had -3.00 in the LH eye and -2.75 in the RH eye. The intacts that were put in are .35mm. Can I expect my vision to stabilize to the way it is in the morning.

I am sorry that I do not know more about intacs. Only one surgeon in all of south Florida currently places intacs, and on last report he was doing about one patient per month. They have not been very popular, although many people are reportedly happy with their results (per the company keravision).
You should talk with your surgeon and try to find out why you are having this fading of vision - is it related to dry eyes?
I wish I could help you further

Instead of making a new post, I can post here. I also post here. I too am from south florida and hes the only one I can find that does intacs. I guess as laser technology advances and the fact keravision is bankrupt, I really only see intacs used for those with KC. I guess intacs was alot more popular back then but now everyones having lasik, many of them wavefront which works well for lower myopes and may produce better vision than intacs. However I love the fact intacs can be removed if they dont work out well or if one decides on lasik in the future.

ACE,
I am currently intacs certified, and use the intralase to safely implant Intacs for keratoconus and for low levels of myopia. The original posting was many years ago. For appropriate patients, Intacs is very effective.
