I've done a little bit of reading on Intacs. They seem like a viable option. My prescription is L-3.00d R-2.75d with a slight astigmatism in both eyes (under 1.0). I seem to fall into the FDA approved range for Intacs. Does anyone have any experience with Intacs? Since Intacs are correctable, are they the better option? What are the risks with Intacs?

Both intacts and LASIK work extremely well for people with no astigmatism and myopia of 3 or less. There is no head to head study yet, so I can't tell you which are better. You should talk with your doctor to find out which might be best for you.

Best of luck
