I saw my Dr. yesterday. After talking to him about what is happening, I think I understand. He said I was over corrected in my right eye in the beginning. He tried to do a bit of a reverse thing here and has made me a bit more near sighted. He says my eye is improving and that everything looks good. He said the blurriness I'm experiencing is that I still have a slight astigmatism. He said he wants to see me in 3 weeks and see how the astigmatism is. He said if it's still a problem he's going to do something there in his office where he takes a knife and slices where the astigmatism is. He called it something but I can't remember the name. Can someone give me more information about this procedure? It scares me more than the Lasik surgery. Thanks.
You are asking about an AK (arcuate keratotomy), where tiny incisions are placed in the peripheral cornea to help with astigmatism. This type of procedure is very safe and painless. You should talk with your doctor of course to find out all of the risks of this for you versus its benefits - so that you can determine whether it is OK for you
Best of luck
