Hi, I live in Balto., MD. I have seen two docs.
Dr. #1: Dr. Anthony Kameen at TLC Laser Eye Centers, done 12k eyes in, I'm not sure how long, he's been around for a while. I did not meet him when I when in for my consult, do have a friend that he performed RK on years ago. Charges 4550.00

Dr. #2: Dr. Sonny Goel at LasikPlus Vision Centers, done 5200 eyes in the past year, do have a friend that used him for Lasik and is very happy. Normally charges 3K but is running special thru end of June for 1K off (2k total, obviously). Did meet him and speak with him at consult. He also learned under Dr. Kameen.

Can anyone give me additional info on these doctors? I do not want to put a price on my eyes, but being a stay at home mom, and really wanting to do this, obviously the lesser of the two is more desirably. If I have to go with the more expensive doctor, I really can't afford to have it done.

Dr Kameen has an excellat reputation and you will
get enhancements covered by TLC if necessary. I
am a little suspicious of selling eye surgery with
big discounts. This is your eyesight, get the
best and spread the cost over a lifetime. I saw a
patient today who went for a cheapy and now is
seeing me to find a solution to her problem.
Those of us who charge a little more usually are
worth it. Did you discuss financing the procedure
so that you can afford it? Why not wait until you
can afford it?
