hello dr. trattler. i had a refraction done yesterday and i am correctable to 20/25 with a +.50 -1 x178. although the machine keeps saying that it's +125 -2 x178. i read 20/50 but only after blinking several times. could you tell me how safe it would be to enhance such a small amount, i have a history of regression but i haven't noticed many changes lately and was wondering because i feel a little goes a long way and would just love to see better than i do right now. thanks. and would it be likely that i regress again even if only treating what seems like a small amount. this is once my vision has completely stabilized of course. last week that machine read the exact amount it did this week, but my refraction gave totally different results. i would guess im at a +125, but apparently not. im confused, thanks for your opinion.

One should not even consider an enhancement until their severe dry eye condition is completely under control. An enhancement might worsen the dry eye condition, and as well it is difficult to get a very accurate refraction while your dry eye condition is severe (as you reported in the dry eye section)
Thank you
