Good day, doctor !
You wrote at internet site:
" With the LASIK procedure, enhancements are easier since the flap can be re-lifted for a period of time without requiring use of the microkeratome."
During what period (month, years...) enhancement is possible without requiring use of the microkeratome ?
To me made LASIK 4 years back.
Yours faithfully,
Alexander

The LASIK flap can be lifted again many years after the procedure. I am aware of surgeons lifting flaps 5 and 7 years after the initial procedure.
On the other hand - please be aware that there are many reports that recutting a LASIK flap places the patient at risk for a complication, as there is a chance that the second microkeratome cut can cut a wedge out of the first lasik flap, and irregular astigmatism can result.
I hope this helps
