I am two weeks post epi lasik to one eye. The bandage lens was
just removed three days ago. I have blurry vision. Sometimes I
feel as though my vision is worse. (Thank god the other eye
wasn't done.) On my glasses, they replaced the lens with clear
glass so my driving and seeing in the distance are certainly
worse than before. I don't know what to do. They say it is part
of the healing process. Can this healing process take up to 3
months, as much of the literature says? Could the surgeon have
put the wrong information into the laser? When will I know for
sure?

There are many reasons why the vision might be blurred after Epi-LASIK particularly if the bandage lens was just removed. It is very typical for the corneal surface cells (epithelial cells) to heal last right in the center. In the last stages of healing, the epithelial cells create a ridge right in the center of the vision. This ridge can take a few days to smooth out. Dry eyes are another common reason for blurred vision in the post-operative period. This can be managed with artificial tears. If you are concerned about your vision, it is best to bring these concerns to your surgeon's attention.
