I am scheduled to have monovision lasik surgery on Feb 13 at the Laser Vision Institute in Dallas, TX. Does any doctor on this board have any qualms about this organization? I have read about the center in Las Vegas but am wondering and wanted advice.

I completed my training in Dallas - and I know many of the refractive surgeons.
I would recommend:
Jim McCulley & Wayne Bowman: UT Southwestern
Jeff Whitman, MD
Brad Bowman: Cornea Associates of Texas
Larry Taub.
I do not know who the surgeon is in Dallas at LVI, and there have been concerns at many other LVI centers in the past. You just need to do your research and perhaps visit a few doctors to help you decide who you have surgery with. Most centers do not charge anything for an initial consultation.
