I am looking for a Doctor who can do a Hyperopic enhancement. Is this procedure common enough that "its a breeze" according to one doctor I interviewed?? I am in the Southeast, but would go anywhere..Is Emory Vision better than Marguerite McDonald in New Orleans? I have called several groups and they ALL say they are the best. Also, I read such hype regarding the aser Nidek, Visx, Summit....does it really matter? HOW CAN I DECIDE??

Hyperopic enhancements are not exactly a breeze, but they are pretty standard. although many patients have results where they end up myopic, there are some petients that will be over-corrected. Therefore, these patients will need hyperopic enhancments.
Most doctors (but not all) include hyperopic enhancements in the procedure cost, so you should first discuss this with your original surgeon. If you are having difficulties with your surgeon , then you should of course have a second opinion.
Both Dr. Mcdonald and the doctors at Emory are quite exprienced. There may be doctors in your local area with similar experiences.
