Lasik surgery was 9-8-99 with pre-op prescription of --9.50 and --11.75 amd moderate astigmatism. Since my one day check-up, my right eye has become hyperopic where mid range vision is very strained. It's like looking through a pair of too strong glasses. My intentionally undercorrected left eye now needs stronger than +1.25 readers to read. I know that it's possible to regress back to where I'd like to be, but how likely is this? Is it more probable with a previous high myope like me? I hope so. Other than that, I am absolutely THRILLED with my results. Visual acuity is unlike I have ever experienced before. Night vsion, starbursts and halos are there but not noticeably worse than pre-op. My previous dry eye condition is no worse. My readers which I use frequently indoors help. Doctors, what do you think?

As mentioned previously on this BB, it is WAY TOO EARLY for you to have any conclusions about your refraction. I don't even check the refraction until at least one week after surgery. Fluctuation is normal so please be patient. Let us know how you do. Congratulations on your good results!
