Hi !

I've asked two times the same question (22/6/ in the "High Myopia forum" and 27/6 in this forum and still there's no answer yet. Is anything wrong with my questions ????

Hi, wish I could help you with your question, but
I am new to gathering info on LASIK as well.
However, I have run across a couple bullitin
boards you may find helpful. They are:

Both sites are very helpful and are good about
responding to your questions in a prompt manner.
The allhealth board is run mostly by people who
have gone through LASIK and can give you first
hand advice about what to expect. The usaeyes site
is run by Dr. Horn and he is very good about
answering questions personally.

you must remember that the doctors here perform this service to us free of charge and in their spare time. Sometimes they don't get to a post, that is the way it is. You can always get more opinions in your home area from other doctors.

Julia and Denise. there was a short delay in answering Julia's question, but all of her questions were answered a few weeks ago

I checked the message boards for Julia's posts before I responded and did not see any responses.
Perhaps there was a glitch in the system or something.

As always Dr. Trattler, thanks for the time and energy that you devote to this board. I, for one, appreciate the responses from surgeons here who have no vested interest in whether or not the posters actually get LASIK surgery. You all served me well during my decision making process prior to my surgery.
