I am 13 months post-Lasik. Previously, I was a -9 and -9.5 and am now a +1 and +2. My question is, is there any chance after this time that I may still regress? Do you know the statistics on this? So far, I have had almost no regression but remain pretty much at the same prescription. My level on the charts have gotten better, but my prescription remains about the same. Just hoping someone could answer this question. Thanks.

AT 13 months - it is uncommon for there to be much of a change in your refraction. In general - things are pretty stable that far out after surgery. So if you are not happy with your result, you can consider an enhancement - which of course has risks.

I hope this helps

Thanks for your response. I have talked to a surgeon about giving me an enhancement. I have decided to leave the + 1 eye alone, but possibly get an enhancement on the +2 eye. I am a little afraid of ending up with not enough cornea. My reading on that eye is 464. The surgeon that I've selected says that he won't have to touch the central cornea but only around the edges and that there'll be plenty of cornea left with his projections. He would lift the flap to do the surgery. The original surgeon that did my Lasik said he would do PRK for me but his reading for that eye was 433. Is that common for your reading to fluctuate in a matter of months? How precise are those measurements? And is it possible to take another measurement after lifting the flap to ensure enough cornea is there? Thanks. I appreciate your help.
