hi, i had an enhancement done 5 weeks ago. the results were incredible at first. however, i have since developed very dry eyes and my corneas feel as if they are raw. when i wake up in the morning things are very small and blurry and sometimes improve throughout the day. i have upper and lower puntal plugs in and that has not helped at all. when i do get a good tear film my vision usually returns to what it was right after surgery. my question is can dry eyes actually cause the cornea to lose it's new shape causing your vision to regress, or could it be that the surface is just highly irritated. when i blink it feels as if my eyelids are rubbing over a brillo pad, that is how bad it is. i am just so afraid of it regressing again like it had done the first time i had the surgery. i see the surgeon in two weeks but i would like some info on this before then. thanks for your response

Dry eyes certainly can cause decreased vision, and this is due to a rough corneal surface. Severe dry eyes may cause mild corneal inflamamtion which could potentially affect the final outcome - so it is important to keep an eye appopriately lubricated.
I hope this helps
