After reading the question posted below, I just have another question.
Can pregnancy cause regression in sight following PRK or Lasik, even if I was to wait 2 yrs after the operation?
The reason I ask is that I do not want to waste time & money on the opeation so find that there may be even a slight chance of regression during pregnancy. I am only 26 so if there is even a slight chance - I can postpone having the treatment until after I have my family.

Sharon,
I hope you have had a chance to read the postings. Many people get pregnant after LASIK, and there have been a few reports of regression after LASIK or PRK that were thought to be related to pregnancy. However, my personal experience with my patients has been very different - as two of my employees who had LASIK with me became pregnant within weeks of LASIK - and both have had 20/20 vision without regression (their surgeries were over 2 years ago). I have had some other patients become pregnant months after LASIK without incident either.
You should therefore talk with your LASIK surgeon and find out his/herr recommendation. I believe that some LASIK surgeon recommend that pregnancy is delayed for 3-6 months after LASIK - but each doctor may have a different opinion
I hope this helps
