I am interested in knowing your opinion of the Allegretto Wave laser? Specifically, are procedures done with this laser generally more successful than some of the older VISX S2 & S3 lasers?
Patients that have tried this procedure, were you satisfied with the results?
Surgeons that have used this laser, how do your results compare to some of the older lasers like the VISX S2 & S3?

That is like asking - what is better - your beat up 1995 Porsche or a brand new Corvette. They both work very well, and they will get you from A to B. But the brand new Corvette has more advanced technology, maybe airbags and other safety inventions that make it a safer experience.
OK - that may not have been the best analogy. But the key here is that you should be looking for a provider that will offer you the latest generation treatment options for your eyes - since you have one set of eyes.
So the Allegretto on average will provide a better visual correction than an older generation VISX model.
