I have LASIK 5 weeks (Intralase with Custom LASIK) and have an overcorrection in one eye of +1.00. Hopefully regresses to normal. Eitherway, my doctor has suggested the CK procedure to improve my reading vision - any thoughts on CK after having LASIK - have not seen anything out here on people having both done. Is this really new (LASIK + CK).
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would ask to see some studies. They may be out there, but I do not know them. CK has risks, and it doesn't work for everyone. As well, what if you need a LASIK enhancement down the road. The CK may make this more difficult.

Thanks for your response.
How long before I should give up hope and look at an enhancement (customview/LASIK)...which sounds like much higher risk when trying to remove overcorrection. Or would you recommend a different approach to remove the overcorrection at 6 weeks post-op?
Historically, has there been documented regression beyond 6 weeks (48 year old male orginally -5.50)?...This may provide hope that I may regress toward normal from my current +1?
Thanks again so much for your help.
