Doctors,
I used pilo regularly to help with GASH. With pilo's side effects, I tried Alphagan recently. It worked great for a few days, now is much less effective.
- Is this normal with Alphagan?
- Is there a chance of it becoming more effective?
- Are there other brands of this drug I might try?
- Any new headway with other drops to reduce pupil size?
Finally, please comment on any new technology coming soon to correct GASH problems post-lasik.
Almost all of my problems are due to pupil size, and I had a relatively mild correction. My pupil size was measured at 7mm, post surgery. They were not measured pre-surgery because it was 3 1/2 years ago. Thanks.

Please talk with your doctor about altering the way you use the alphagan. Perhaps by using the drop only at night (or dusk), it will be more effective.
As for new technologies, I have not heard of any recently other than wavefront technology, which is still a ways away.
I wish I had more solid info for you.
