I just had Lasik done to my eyes last week. The next day I noticed the pupil of my right eye has a slight oval shape now and some discoloration around the out-of round area of the pupil.
During my next day post-op, the a technician(not the eye doctor) checked my eyes a didn't notice it until I pointed it out. She didn't know what to make of it and made me an appointment to see the eye doctor this week.
I can't find any info regarding this specific sympton. Anybody hear of this?
As far as the surgery goes, everything seemed to go fine. I had 20/20 the day after the surgery and I don't find anything else wrong with my vision. My eyes seem to be healing normally.

I am sorry - I just do not know exactly what you are describing. Some people will have different colors on their irises. The best thing to do is to get some old photographs and bring them in, to see if you can determine whether there is a difference in the eye color.
Best of luck

Looks like it was a false alarm.
To re-cap, my main concern was that I noticed a shape change of my pupil after Lasik surgery and don't remember seeing it before surgery. It was also not seen by the two pre-op eye exams and was only noticed after 2 post-op exams after I pointed it out to the doctor.
The doctor explained that it wasn't caused by the surgery which I can believe, but I have heard the pressure cuased by the suction cup can cause damage in the eye.
I went to my family eye doctor for a second opinion and he quickly put my concerns to rest. He showed me my previous charts that showed the shape difference I described. Appearently my eye has been that way for quite some time, I guess I never really noticed before.
At this point I am very relieved, however this doesn't speak well for the Lasik center. With 4 eye exams with 3 different doctors, they weren't able to notice the condition of my eye.

my pupil size became smaller after lasik surgery. there is a brown circle around my pupils when they are their smallest in bright light. Before the surgery my pupils would have dilated to cover this brownish colored circle. My pupils will dilate in dim light, but not to the size they used too. Also, I am undercorrected and have extremely large contrast loss. Cannot see in hand in front of face in dark. Left eye had enchancement--see everything even worse out of left eye. Unless lights are fully on, I have a hard time seeing clearly. Dimmed light is very hard to see in. Night driving a bear....Anyone else?
