From my study on pupil size and night vision with the VISX laser - I found that LASEK with custom treatment (wavefront) provided the best results for avoiding ngith vision problems after laser eye surgery. Of course - I have not studied other laser platforms - so I can't comment on whehter one platform is better than another platform.
Of course - all patients with large pupils are at increased risk of night time vision problems compared to patients of the same level of myopia with small pupils.
I hope this helps
