Is there any information on Intacs being used after Lasik when an enhancement cannot be done? I had Lasik two years ago and use one contact lens for monovision. It has worked out well but I'm looking for something more permanent. Enhancement is out of the question due to corneal depth. Any information or advice would be appreciated. Thank you

this is a novel approach to reducing small amounts of myopia after lasik. there is no published data on this subject-probably by october we will have a report fromone doctor in california whi has been offering this to patients. still if you cannot have an enhancement, this sounds reasonable.

There is published data on this very successful method of correction on Occular Surgery New on the Slackinc website. You can sign up as a consumer and read the report.
