I had Lasik done 4 weeks ago. Two weeks ago, when my vision wasn't focusing in well, I was dialated
and a large floater was found hovering over my right eye macula. My pre op prescription was -12. My vision in both eyes is not yet real clear, but seems to get a little better later in the day. There were no floaters detected pre op. Is this possibly posterior vitreous detachment? Are the floaters caused by detachment debris? Most importantly, will the floaters go away or clear up. Are there remedies to help clear this problem?

Floaters can be a sign of a retinal tear or detachment. LASIK has not been shown to be responsible for retinal detachments. However, anyone with 12 diopters of myopia is at risk for developing a retinal problem regardless of whether they have LASIK.
You should see your doctor immediately, as the doctor needs to check your eyes to rule out a retinal tear or detachment
Best of luck
