mY VISION BEFORE SURGERY WAS -14 WITH 1.5 cyl (l)
AND -15 WITH 2 cyl (r). i HAVE DONE SURGERY IN iNDIA AND I AM FACING FOLLOWING PROBLEMS.
1. Ghost Images. 2. Light gets spread around like If i see a buld at night it looks like Parachute.
3. Very bad near vision. Current status of both eyes is Left - 0.5 and Right 6.5 residual No with
Partiasl vision.
Could you all please help me by giving me guidence on corrective actions to be taken and where it is available. Please bare with my typing mistakes since near vision is really bad.

You had very high levels of myopia, and therefore were at risk for hving the problems that you now describe. It is hard to know what thereapies may help with yoru symptoms without examining your eyes. Consider the following:

1. A new pair of glasses with your current glass prescription. This may sharpen things up

2. Your doctor may recommend an eye drop that causes pupillary constriction - which can sometimes help

I have done my LASIK surgery in June 2000 on both eyes. My pre LASIK vision was
Left : -15 with 2 CYL and Right : - 14 with 0.75 CYL 6/9 vision.
I am facing following post LASIK problems.
Ghost Images on PC Screen / TV . Light gets Spread around and worst part is my near vision now is very bad. I can't even see small fonts on PC Screen.
My post LASIK vision is Left : 0.5 SPH and Right : 6.5 SPH ( Residual vision ).
Currently I came to UK for correction could you please help me by suggesting the corrective action to be taken and where it can be done.

Is this problem is going to heal with the time ?. Because my doctor in India says it will clearup with time, so i should wait for 2 to 3 months.
Currently I am using I-Lube an Eye Lubricating drops 1x3 a day.

I have ghosting too. I've had the survery plus an enhansment but things are still blurred...even the big E when I'm supposidly seeing 20/30. Have you heard yet what your/my problem could be?

There are multiple causes of ghosting. The causes include

1. Irregular astigmatism
2. Decentered ablation
3. Central island
4. Small optical zone of treatment and large pupils
5. epithelial problems.

What does your surgeon say? You may need a second opinion if you are still having problems and your original surgeon has not offered a good solution.
