I HAD LASIK DONE 7 DAYS AGO MY VISION BEFORE LASIK WAS -5.0 AND -5.25 MY DOCTOR SAID I HAD A BIT OF A LAZY EYE-BEST CORRECTED VISION WAS 20/30 IN RIGHT EYE. AFTER LASIK I SAW 20/20 IN MY LEFT EYE AND THE RIGHT EYE WAS BETTER BY FAR BUT STILL SOMEWHAT BLURRY. I ALSO HAD MY PUPILS MEASURED AT 6.5 THE DOCTOR SAID THE HEALING MAY BE SLOWER IN THE RIGHT EYE BUT IT WOULD BE BETTER AT MY ONE WEEK APPOINTMENT. THAT IS TOMORROW AND I SEE NO DIFFERENCE-IS THAT NORMAL? IS IT TOO SOON TO KNOW IF I WILL NEED AN ENHANCEMENT? USING BOTH EYES I CAN SEE THE TV AND EVEYTHING IN THE HOUSE GOOD BUT DRIVING IT IS HARD TO READ THE SMALLER SIGNS.
I ALSO DID NOT FEEL THAT MY EYES HAVE BEEN DRY UNTIL YESTERDAY - IS THAT NORMAL?
There is a healing period, which can range from days to weeks to months. Doctors generally wait atleast 3 months for the eye to stabalize before considering an enhancement.
Hopefully your vision will continue to improve with time - but talk with your doctor to get a better idea of where you are now in the healing process.
best of luck
