I posted a query recently and received a response from 'Bob' who complained of similar systems. No physician responded. That didn't help me or Bob. So I looked for answers in the notices posted by others with eye problems. Again I struck out because in each case I had no idea what was meant by the medical terms used. Is there a possibility that someone could assemble a dictionary of the terms used in the notices currently posted on the Board? It would be a great help to me, and since I've long stopped believing that I am unique, I'm sure it will be a great help to other sufferers too.
To whoever responds positively, I say "Thank you very much.

Your previous question was on floaters, which you state you have had for decades. Basically, floaters are just "thick" portions of the normally clear vitreous gel. The vitreous gel fills the entire back of the eye.
There are no good treatments. For many people, floaters will fade out of the way. However, for some people, the floaters will remain. All current treatments for floaters have risks, including risk of retinal tears and retinal detachments. Hopefully with time research will determine safer treatments.

I hope this helps

Best of luck
