Would a diabetic be a likely candidate for Lasik surgery. I am a diabetic and sometimes when my sugar is not under control it can effect my vision.

control and stability are the name of the game with lasik. if your vision is fluctuating with the sugars it gets very hard to pin down the proper correction to enter into the laser.
likewise, well controlled diabetics have few healing problems, while those with brittle diabetes can have problems with wound healing.
work on the control, and then see your lasik doctor
