I had lasik done 7 weeks ago and now have 3 or 4 striae directly across my left pupil. My opthomologist tells me to wait. I feel discomfort and see at least 2 more, transparent but distinct images, of the original image. The striae runs vertical and light seems to be deflected horizontally in the manner a prism might. This seems to cause colors to blend and detail to become hazy. I feel I should not wait any longer and simply have them removed. Can you please offer your opinion?

Striae which are causing significant symptoms
should be removed and earlier is better.
