Dr Trattle,
I am considering getting a second opinion because my doctor never seems to want to answer any of my questions and that is why I keep posting everything on this bulletin board. I am very frustrated because they gave me the idea that hyperopics have less than a 1% chance of developing complications and based on the information from this bulletin this is very inaccurate. I don't think my results are terrible but I question whether I received 100% from this physician. My question is who would you recommend in New York City and are you familiar with Dr Braustein from Columbia University?

Reading your previous postings, it is very difficult to know why you are having your problems via the internet. Hopefully your second opinion doctor can help figure out what is going on.
I hope this helps

PS: I do not know the doctor you mentioned. He may be excellent. As well, I am just providing you with two of the names of the doctors that help answer questions here (Dr. Chin answers the most), as they both enjoy helping people with questions or problems.
I hope this helps

Dear Dr Trattler,
Thank you for your time and consideration regarding my multiple questions about Lasik surgery. I guess like every surgery there are risks, but I didn't think I would be experiencing so many of them. At this point I just want to make the best decisions possible post-op with a physician who is not just considered excellent but also caring and compassionate in his field.
Thank you,
Tracy
