I am considering getting LASIK done at Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta. Does anyone have any info or opinions on this clinic or the Drs (Gabianelli and Feinberg)?

Dr. Gabianelli has an excellent reputation. One of the doctors who I work with here in Miami (Dr. Carlos Buznego) went to Washington University School of Medine with Dr. Gabianelli, and has kept in touch with him throughout their careers. Dr. Buznego has only the best things to say about his training and experience in refractive surgery.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to ask any specific questions.

Best regards

Did you ever get lasik done with GA Eye Partners? If not, where? In general, how many offices does one visit when deciding to get this done?

I had Lasik about 7 years ago with Dr Gabianelli and my eyes were really near-sighted all my life, -12 dioptors and he corrected me to within .5 so I can see without glasses except I use glasses to drive now for clarity but do not need reading glasses and I am over 50!

It seems that most people check out two or three facilites before making a final decision. I recommend you use our 50 Tough Questions For Your Doctor at http://www.usaeyes.org/faq/tough_questions.htm and visit http://www.usaeyes.org/surgeons/states/lasik_georgia.htm
