Like so many of you, I am considering LASIK surgery. I live near Kansas City, and have gotten information from the Hunkeler Eye Center and Eye Care, Inc. I have heard some negative things about one of the doctors at Hunkeler, but very positive things about their reputation on the whole. I am considering going to Dr. John Doane at Eye Care, Inc. in Leawood, KS. Has anyone been to this clinic or doctor, and what was your impression? I would like someone who is thorough, thoughtful and kind (I'm a wimp when it comes to invasive procedures!) If you know of a really great, intensive, thorough, kind and talented surgeon in the area, please let me know (I don't want to have to go further than KC). THANKS!!!!!

Please e-mail me and let me know about what you have heard about Hunkeler. I have heard they are tops too - but am afraid of the Dr. to whom you refer.

Both Dr. Doane and the Hunkeler eye institute have good reputations.
