I am scheduled for Lasik in April with Dr. Ford of PCLI. He has performed 8,000+ and I've heard good results from my references here in AK. Has anyone heard of good/bad comments down in the Northwest area? My left eye is -10 and my right is -8.50 with slight astigmatism in both.
Also, for the doctors, do you have any other recommendations on surgeons here in Alaska? Thank you for your input.

I also have questions about Dr. Ford and was wondering how he is. I have heard at least one good report about him. This was from one of the techs that works with him. I have been searching for a good surgeon that I can trust with the future of my eyes.

I do not know of Dr. Ford (I live in Miami). but I do know doctor Steven Ofner. He is a well known LASIK surgeon and frequently answers questions on AskLasikDocs.com. You can get a sense of his experience and knowledge by reading his answers to the numerous questions about LASIK and the avoidance/treatment of complications
