Thanks for all the feedback I've recieved in the past.
What I'm looking for is more experiences on the length of time some of you with monovision took to adjust.
It appears I'm one of those who is a slow healer. It's been 6 weeks to the day and I'm still experiencing dry eye therefore, semi-blurry vision, some starburst and glare problems, etc. I sometimes wonder if I haven't adjusted to monovision and am just experiencing problems with the lasiked eye.

The problems you are describing have nothing to do with monovision. So your question probabably is how long does it take for everything to get better. The answer is thatg things can be very variable. Dry eyes can take a while to heal - so you may need punctal plugs - which work great. The dry eyes may also be contributing to your blurry vision, and night time vision problems.
Hopefully your LASIK surgeon will be helpful and provide the treatment needed to help with your dry eyes.

Best of luck

Thank you very much Dr Trattler for your quick response. I was beginning to suspect that the dry eye was the source of the problem. I have seen a lot of improvement in the last few days, but still can't see as clearly as needed. Are these plugs something to explore now or something to look into after giving myself more time to heal?
*Note* For about a week and a half, one of the optometrist at the clinic had advised me to use Muro 128 drops and I think that caused more dryness and did more harm than good.

You should certainly be seeing a dry eye specialist. I can't comment on the muro, as I do not know why it was prescribed - but it is not a treatment for dry eyes. It is used to treat other eye conditions.
Punctal plugs can dramatically help people with severe dry eyes - so you should see an experienced dry eye specialist who can potentially help you.
The doctors I know in Dallas who specialize in dry eyes include:

Jim McCulley, MD - at UTSouthWestern Medical Center (UTSWMC) -
Wayne Bowman, MD: also at UTSWMC
Brad Bowman, MD (no relation to Wayne Bowman): who is at Cornea Consultants of Dallas

Best of luck
